There are several motivations for undertaking a research, particularly if you are going to do Thesis or Dissertation writing. In writing a Research Proposal, it is important that yours is a convincing one so your study can be approved by the panel. Just for example, an inquiry into the development of the Agrarian Reform may take us far into the past. Perhaps you doubt about some event, development or experience in the past studies. You may doubt the sincerity of the government officials or of the land lords in this endeavor. This thinking may leave you to arrive at the problem and hence, the investigation. At the beginning, your problem may be broad and diffused. This is just natural since you are not very sure yet of what you really want to investigate but as you go on reading the related literature, you will notice that you become surer of your investigation.
